Sleep Solves Everything!

  • 1281 Main Street Dublin, NH, 03444 United States (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

As women, how many of us struggle with sleep? We're all busy and stressed, and many of us are also moms trying to raise healthy kiddos. Sleep is a part of our life that we often pay little attention to, let alone take deliberate steps to nourish!

I know this is a bold title, but as you'll see, a restorative nights sleep does really go a long way in solving so much of what ails us, including...

- Excess weight and body fat

- Food cravings

- Insulin resistance and blood sugar dysregulation

- Gut imbalances

- Detoxification

- Hormone imbalances

- Chronic fatigue

- Immune system dysfunction

- Inflammation

- Exercise intolerance

- Depression and anxiety

In this hour long talk, we'll explore all the factors that contribute to dysregulated sleep, such as...

- Artificial light exposure

- Lack of natural light

- Lack of proper movement

- Unhealthy sleep environment

- Meal timing and food choices

- EMFs and technology

- Stress

- Inconsistent bed and wake times

I promise that you will come away from this talk feeling armed with knowledge and empowered to get your sleep, and that of your children's, back to a healthy restful experience!

Metabolic Detoxification 101

  • 1281 Main Street Dublin, NH, 03444 United States (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

This workshop is intended to give you the tools you need to best support healthy metabolic detoxification. Our bodies are perfectly designed to detoxify and excrete toxins we are exposed to, however the unfortunate truth is that we live in a world that is overburdened by environmental toxins, and our bodies need extra support to keep up the work of healthy detoxification.

Our liver is the epicenter of metabolic detoxification, but other organs are intricately involved as well. We will explore these other detoxification pathways and how also to best support them.

We want to allow our body to do the work it’s designed so well to do by giving it the imputes and support it needs, ie:

  • Nutrient dense foods

  • Specific herbs and supplements

  • Restorative sleep and stress management

  • Healthy amounts of exercise

  • Non-toxic personal care and household products

We will explore how to best implement these crucial supports in simple and doable ways. We will also explore the important difference between supporting our detoxification pathways and doing a ‘cleanse’. This distinction is important as cleanses and detox programs are heavily marketed to those looking to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and so often these cleanses do more harm than good.

At the end of our time together, you will have the tools you need to have optimal detoxification, and if acted upon the results you will experience will be:

  • Vibrant energy

  • Balanced hormones and mood

  • Strong immune function

  • A healthy body weight

  • Clearer and brighter skin

The cost of this workshop is $20.00 and will be held virtually via Zoom. To register, please click the link below:

Stress Management, Sleep Support and Sleep Hygiene

In this new age of COVID-19, we ALL need extra support for managing the increased stress we're experiencing. The fear, uncertainty, loneliness, depression, general anxiety, boredom, etc, etc that we face every day is unprecedented and will likely be present in and in need of 'management' for the foreseeable future.

Along with the need for the right tools to manage stress and the emotions it invokes is the need for proper sleep. Sleep and successful stress management go hand in hand, but so often when one is presenting challenges, the other follows suit.

Having all the right tools as well as understanding the importance of prioritizing healthy sleep and stress management will give you a leg up on navigating the future as we now see it to be. We all want to be the best versions of ourselves now more than ever, and the information I'll provide in this talk will set you on the right path!

This workshop will cover the following topics:

- What effects chronic stress and poor sleep have on our bodies and how it triggers inflammation, poor decision making, hormone imbalances, dampened immunity and more.

- An in-depth examination of the 'stress response' and the ways in which it's been triggered throughout history and how those triggers have changed over time.

- All the reasons why the COVID-19 pandemic is presenting difficult and new challenges to the coping mechanisms and tools we've traditionally used for stress management

- New ways to manage all the emotions and stress we're facing as well as how to better utilize the tools we already have at our disposal.

- The power of thought and how to harness energy and positivity to bolster our resiliency and productivity.

- Proper sleep; what is optimal, what 'sleep hygiene' is and how to create a healthy sleep environment.

- Natural and artificial light exposure and technology as it relates to our circadian rhythm (our sleep/wake cycle).

- Key supplements and foods for promoting restful sleep and for managing the stress response.

- The importance of daily exercise and time in nature as they relate to sleep and stress management. I'll also outline strategies for how to implement these practices in a safe and effective way.

This will be a Zoom led workshop. To gain access to the meeting and receive payment instructions, please submit a form via the contact section on this site.
